Howl at the Moon Orlando
Dueling piano bar with a raucous crowd
Bar · International Drive
The Zagat Review
“You’ll have fun whether you want to or not” at this “high-energy” I-Drive hang where revelers can “laugh and sing along” to “awesome dueling pianos” that play an “eclectic assemblage of oldies but goodies” ; participation is encouraged ( “stop the song if you don’t like it” ) and service gets few complaints, so while it’s a bit “costly” , it’s still “great for a night out with a group.”

Fun place if you have the right crowd. We went on a weeknight so it wasn't too crowded and the music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other but the musicians were talented. They play fun music but it was so much about "pay for play" songs that it took some of the fun out of the concept. Ive been to many dueling pianos and would like to see more fun and friendly competition among each of them instead of just taking turns rotating on and off the pianos.

One of our vendors had a business party here. Entertainment was great. Atmosphere was good ole down home. Music was awesome. We had a great time.

My husband surprised me by bringing me here for New Years. He paid $150 to reserve two seats at the bar. We had to sit behind all the liquor bottles and couldn’t see anything. The bar was actually recommended to my husband rather than a table. Bartenders were nice and food was good, but the experience was extremely disappointing for us. We asked to move to a different seat and after 2 hours we were thankfully moved to a seat where we actually could participate in the fun. By this time, the doors were open to anyone and it became crowded. I guess we were assigned a new server who proceeded to walk up to us and snap “you can’t sit here, it’s reserved.” After going back and forth with the hostess who moved us, she nodded her head. We saw her once after this when she tried to remove a half-full drink from my hands. We continued to go to (Rob, I think) at the bar and she snapped at us for doing so. Terrible service on her part and felt extremely talked down to. Will not be going back!
