“Juicy, handmade” patties from never-frozen ground beef piled with interesting toppings (Cheetos and cheese sauce, anyone?) create lines at these “hole-in-the-wall” counter-serve burger joints; don’t let the “semi-gruff” service or “spartan surroundings discourage you” , as it’s all about the “tasty” , inexpensive burgers here – plus the Heights and Kemah branches have a “nice selection of local craft beers.”

We took a break from running errands and stopped in for lunch. We happened on this location totally by luck. We've never heard of this place so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. The place is a simple grill that specializes in burgers and fries. I ordered the simple double cheeseburger w/ a side of "Hell" fries and my wife ordered the jalapeno burger w/ a fried egg. The food did not disappoint. The burgers were hot, fresh, and juicy. The fries were tasty and had some nice heat to them, but the burgers are what stole the show. We'll definitely be returning to this location for the relaxing atmosphere and the jukebox to try some different burgers they have to offer.

My husband and I ate an early dinner there last night. He had the Texas BBQ Burger, and I had the Greek burger with a fried egg and sweet potato fries. The woman was nice enough to allow me to get the black olives and special mayonnaise on the side. She said they usually don't allow that because they take pride in how their burgers are made, and they're usually too busy. :-) The burgers were tasty, and the special mayonnaise was absolutely delicious! Both my husband and I thought the sweet potato fries were too salty and overly seasoned. It's not my favorite burger spot, but I did appreciate the variety and quantity of different and unique burgers and fries they offer.

Quick service. The hell fries had a firey creamy taste but the canned jalapenos zapped the flavor out of them. I had to pick them out to enjoy my fries. The burger was big and had fresh veggies but lacked seasoning. I'm still searching for the best burger in town!
