The Zagat Review
Lodged with “elegance” in a “historic” 19th-century mansion, this “top-end” Rutledge Hill “treat” (and sibling of a Charleston original) boasts “stupendous” , regionally sourced Southern fare that’s “bursting with flavor” thanks to the “masterful touch” of chef Sean Brock and his “farm-to-fork” ethos; “service-oriented” staffers overseeing the art-lined space help ensure “an all-around exquisite pleasure.”

We arrived to Nashville before our room was ready so decided to get something to eat. Husk came up on a few sites, so we decided to give it a shot. The food was excellent. My wife got the steak Cobb salad. I got the burger. But the trainee, Marshall, that was out server(we sat at the bar) made the trip. We spoke about different bourbons and whiskeys I enjoyed, and he gave me a recommendation. It was on point. (Old Weller 107 Antique). His demeanor was very personable. I manager a few of 70 people, over 75% of which are customer facing. If Marshall was local to me, I would hire him in an instant. He was the difference between a 4 star and a 5 Star review here, without a doubt. Please be sure to continue to train this young man. He will do well!!

Really awesome experience. Went for brunch on a rainy Sunday. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable and personable. As you can see, we tried basically everything on the menu. Definitely recommend.

An absolutely delicious meal although the price is a bit on the high side. A few highlights were the bread as an appetizer, it was legitimately one of the best starters I have ever tasted. I got the Nashville fried chicken, a local classic which they've definitely elevated. I do wish the spice powder on the chicken was a tad bit less so the spice is not quite as overwhelming and dry. The grit pudding dessert however is a must try, it's nothing I've ever tasted before. It's creamy and smooth and the apple butter with the fried chip play perfectly with each other. The decor is outstanding and the staff is extremely friendly.
