“Unpretentious” but with a “pure NY vibe” , this Il Buco spin-off is a “go-to” for “simple yet refined” Italian-Med fare – “especially the pastas” and “ridiculously good” short ribs – in a “homey” NoHo setup with a front market area/coffee bar; communal seats and somewhat “pricey” tabs aside, it’s “comfortable” for just about “every occasion.”

Expecting a better experience. The decor of the place is great. Cozy and with a “home made” feel. Service was OK. By no means up to the price of the menu. In general The food was below expectation. The dessert was awesome. I liked it a lot. Not coming again. Service vs food vs price not a good balance in my books.

Enjoyed the espresso creations of Cindy at the front bar with a couple of made in house pastries. Planned on just stopping in for a minute and stayed almost 2 hours! Drinks amazing! Pastries fantastic! Conversation and jokes and silly stories did more than cheer me up! Thanks again Cindy! You and The Stewardess really made my day!! Decor, atmosphere, and overall ambiance were really nice as well. Not sure what the complaints about prices are about either. Prices fit the spot. And well worth it!

Charming, Italian market, cafe and restaurant. A nice I selection of Italian and European foodstuffs, including caviar. Restaurant offers variety of Italian dishes, principal pasta, including a daily, prefix Market lunch, salad, entree, and dessert - cheese course, gelato, or sorbeto - for $29, with recommended wine pairing at additional cost.
