Service

“As good as ever” , these “old-school” Italians “don’t miss” , offering “overabundant portions” , “loads of freebies” and all-around “luscious” fare; servers must “perform a ballet” to get around the “cramped” Village “landmark” (UES is roomier), and though it’s “memorable” for sure, your wallet may “hurt afterwards.”

Oh my God words just cannot possibly describe how amazing this place is. Outrageously expensive and worth every last penny that you spend here! From the moment you walk into the place you feel like royalty. Soon as you sit down there's delicious cheese that's brought out sliced fresh right off his massive block fresh as can be then this beautiful oil and spices and Breads and tomatoes all sorts of just Little delicious finger foods before you even get to have your sip of wine it's great it's all been placed right in front of you. Then comes the soups and the appetizers. Big event will happen here proposals anniversaries excetera excetera highly recommend a hundred times over. There's also one in South Florida

Classy restaurant for sure with good atmosphere... service is doing a great job and I was satisfied... I didn’t impressed with the food though... I had rosemary potatoes, Cesar’s salad and a house salad as appetizers... I wasn’t impressed... the salads were fresh of course but totally dry... kalamari bites with red sauce also were average, nothing special... My main food was seafood pasta... pasta were good and tasty but oysters, muscles and shrimps had no taste... I asked more parmesana cheese to feel something different because the taste was to light... my wife though had a veal roasted main with mushrooms and gravy sauce... it was way better than mine... so definitely they are more good in meat plates but not in seafood... the place was crowded when we visited and for my surprise I noticed that they have only one unisex restroom and you had to wait for 15 minutes... overrated for sure and their prices are to expensive for the food you have... as I said I wasn’t impressed...

Pricey, old school, and teetering on the edge of losing it's charm - the meal is absolutely delicious, however, and the filet (beef) is the best I've had in NYC thus far.
