Ever “sexy” – even “timeless” – this “'80s hot spot” opposite the Public Theater still lures “attractive thin” folk with “on-target” French-Vietnamese fare served in “exotic” digs à la 1930s Saigon; perhaps its “elegance is slightly worn” , but the “people-watching” is as stellar as ever.

LOVE Indochine. Another New York landmark. I've tried everything on the menu and like it all. It's a cool vibe with palm trees and printed wallpaper - attracts a fashion-y, higher crowd but still has that downtown vibe. The best night is to see a show at Joe's Pub across the street and have dinner at Indochine.

Always a good time and ideal for groups! Indochine is on the pricey side, but is perfect for groups and the food is spectacular. I especially enjoy the spring rolls and the miso cod. Virtually every dish I've had there has been tapas style and very popular with my crew. Service is attentive. Atmosphere is fun and a little noisy. Drinks are well mixed and excellent.

Went here during restaurant week. Pretty nice space. The food was pretty delicious, except that our order wasn't cooked as requested. We ordered the salmon medium well, yet the middle was pink. The spicy beef salad was a real treat. The sorbet was also pretty good. A bit on the pricier side,... would recommend for special occasions.
