Garlic lovers are "unable to pass" by the "delicious" scent "wafting" from this "very special" French Quarter spot without stopping in for some truly "terrific" , "authentic" Italian fare complemented by "world-class" wines; "everyone becomes friends after a few cocktails" in the piano bar, which is an "enjoyable" place to wait for a table (a common occurrence, even with reservations) in the "charming" , "romantic" dining room patrolled by a "wonderful" staff.

I want to write a love letter to Irene's. This is my number one go-to place when I went to impress somebody or make sure that they have an excellent time. The food is exquisite rosemary chicken is out of the world. They're Italian dishes are great. This is one of the best restaurants in the French Quarter. The gun some bad news lately and they going to have to move because of internal politics with people that don't even live in New Orleans and it makes me angry. But I'm sure I mean will be great in her new location. If you're in love with somebody, or you want to show your mom you really appreciate what she's done for you, or you simply just want to feel good about your life Irene's is the place to come.

Very good appetizers, and meals; avoid the dessert. Honestly, dessert disappointing. BUT, you have to try everything else. The food has earned a place in my memory for when I come back to Louisiana. Consider the lasagna, I literally wanted a bowl of sauce to slurp up like soup. This is a great place to get away from the Louisiana style food. We had the Escargot, oysters, arugula salad, duck, lasagna, cheesecake, and creme bulee.

Amazing food and staff. Everything was excellent, the food was delicious and all plates cleaned off. Very cozy restaurant. Treated well from the moment we entered till we left. Recommend reservations.
