“Master” chef Ivan Orkin “brings Tokyo to NYC” with his namesakes where “interesting” takes on traditional ramen yield “soul-satisfying” bowls; the LES flagship is “small but comfortable” with “funky” Japanese pop decor and a back patio, while the Hell’s Kitchen counter has communal tables – but both get “very busy.”

Wow!!! We visited here last night around 8:00 PM on our way to JFK for our flight. Found street parking, so saved some parking money. We did make a reservation so we got in fairly fast. The garlic slices in the triple pork triple garlic are out of this world. They were great. We also tried the Lamb Dan Dan (no soup in the bowl, so like a noodle salad). Plus, we got the tempura mushrooms & Squash. Great quality ingredients and very good broth in the Ramen. This special dishes do not have as much broth as the traditional dishes, so you need to be ready for that. The combination was very good.

A bit pricey but delicious. Ramen varieties are fantastic, tastes like shinjuku station is right next door. Amazing service and curious on tap beer flavors make the experience worthwhile. Gotta try it, it's better than other celebrated NYC options. Prepare for a long wait.

Was Inspired by Ivan’s story. I was really excited to go. Went for lunch with my wife...menu was great, service great, atmosphere great! Food was super salty and made us both sick. Very disappointing.
