The Kizaki brothers "know what they're doing" – and they've "done it again" with this "spectacular" Sushi Den offshoot in Platt Park offering the same "incredibly fresh seafood" for which the "mother ship" next door is famous, alongside an "uncommonly" "adventurous" selection of Asian-fusion small plates, all "served with aplomb” – and sake – by an "efficient" , "accommodating" staff; meanwhile, the "simply stunning" two-story setting, featuring a "heavenly" upstairs lounge with a retractable roof, is even "better" than that of its sibling, "without the waits.”

Great food. Great service. One of my favorite Denver spots over the past several years. Their happy hour Brussels sprouts with pork is one of the better happy hour dishes I’ve had considering taste and value. Sushi is amazing too. Always fresh.

So you think fresh sushi is impossible in Colorado? Not so. This place has an amazing selection of melt in your mouth sushi within a fantastic 2 floor restaurant with unbelievably cool decor. Great selection of sake and a suave atmosphere for a perfect date. I have been here a couple of times and the first was at a sit down table. The wait staff were on top of it and extremely helpful with menu selections. The second was at one of the cocktail bars. This was during Valentine’s Day and the place was extremely busy. Our bartender ordered one of our rolls incorrectly but we are easy going people and told him about it and ate what we were given. He then apologized and gave us a free dessert. All in all, fantastic experiences with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would recommend.

If Sushi Den is packed, and you've still got your heart set on this kind of cuisine - then Izakaya is perfect. Same owner, same quality, same service. I've been to both numerous times and recommend it to everyone.
