This "real McCoy" Mission izakaya proffers "carefully" prepared Japanese comfort food with an "out-of-this-world" sake selection in a "toned-down" , "minimalist" storefront adorned with calligraphy paintings; "endearing" staffers and "expensive" price points come with the territory; P.S. closed Monday–Tuesday.

The food is good, as you expect it to be, and great service. However, this is not a $$ restaurant, the food is very expensive for what you get. Waiting 30+ minutes for plain rice just doesn't make sense. There are better options around for those prices.

Great food prepared with care. Clam broth was especially good. My favorite was the rice dish... wonderful!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Yuzuki. We tried a little of almost every single item in the menu, including the specials and were constantly surprised by how deliocious each and every dish was. I hesitated to order a couple items which seemed a little strange, or potentially "far out" for the guests I was dining with, but I'm glad we tried these as well as each of these dishes offered a unique and refreshing taste that was highly pleasing. I can't wait go back! Not to mention the sake collection which perfectly paired to the food and different palettes!
