Elevated breakfast, lunch & brunch spot
Logan Square · $
Sweet and savory New American fare for breakfast, brunch and lunch distinguishes this relocated Logan Square spot with artisanal coffee and tea drinks, fresh-squeezed juice and a small kids’ selection rounding out the creative menu. The laid-back setting has an industrial vibe with high ceilings, concrete tables and plastic chairs, plus a waiting area that was lacking in the former location.

GET. THE. FRENCH. TOAST. I've never had anything even mediocre there, and the new location serves them well; I no longer have to wait an hour for a table. The mixed drinks are delicious and interesting. The house specials are always a win and Ian the chef is adventurous and brilliant. Your out of town friends will be impressed by your amazing spot finding skills

Jam is a great brunch place. The new space (they moved from Logan Boulevard) is beautiful and they offer a really interesting selection of unique brunch dishes. It's a little on the fancy side, which means it's also a little on the pricy side, but the food is great quality and the service was good as well. I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're looking for something a little different than your usual brunch fare. The coffee porter pancakes were amazing (though they were essentially pure dessert, not brunch)!

Recently relocated, Jam continues to deliver Chicago's best, and most reliable brunch experience, day in and day out. Their new location lacks outdoor seating, but makes up for it with a roomy interior and lots of additional seats. For folks with booth-envy, they now have some booths in addition to regular tables and a big long high-top. There's even a waiting area, meaning folks aren't breathing down your neck while awaiting a table. The extra room also means less waiting. The malted custard french toast is an exceptional dish; it shares little in common with most french toast you may have eaten before. Their seasonal pancakes are probably my favorite dish, although I'm also partial to their chicken and waffles. On weekends, they have creative waffle specials. Oh, and their fresh squeezed juices will ruin juice other places for you... Service is quite good, and they generally will keep things moving, which is nice on a weekday morning. We're thrilled Jam is back after a brief moving hiatus!
