A Village “fave” for decades, this circa-1978 Japanese is ever- “dependable” for “generous” cuts of “quality” sushi ( “fresh is the magic word” ) served by “accommodating” staffers; it’s “not ridiculously expensive” ( “though it could be” ), so the “tight” quarters are typically “busy.”

This is a beautiful little sushi place that really lives up to the culture, it's small so while eating you might be 2-3 feet away from someone else. The sushi is expensive but, it's the best sushi I have ever eaten. The food over here melts in your mouth, doesn't leave you bloated there's nothing but quality in here. You definitely pay for what you get the service is great too no complaints from this place. Highly recommend trying this place at least once !

The sushi is really amazing here, it’s just that it’s very expensive. It’s a cute little place and I would recommend it. For lunch they have lunch specials not the cheapest lunch special you can find, but I would definitely want to go here again because everything looking beautiful and fresh. There’s some things on the menu that I’ve probably never seen before in a Japanese menu that’s what makes this place unique, and authentic.

One of New York's finest Japanese restaurants, was great 15 years ago, was great last night. If you're looking for good sushi and a great atmosphere, go there!
