These “bustling” Cantonese roll out “delectable” dim sum “à la Hong Kong” on “quickly moving carts” at the Chinatown original with its “football field–sized” hall, while a 10-seat chef’s counter at the Upper West Side offshoot offers diners a peek at the kitchen action; though “crowded at peak hours,” they’re “affordable” all the time.

Different kinds of dumplings are available here, which are all good. Fried dumplings is what most people recommended, but unfortunately I couldn't try that. Good ambience. Very spacious. Attentive staff. And tasty food. The way waiters serve is also a little different and special there.

I have been going here for weekend dim sum for many, many years. The food is absolutely excellent. The value is really fantastic, as well. Expect a wait to get in - the large crowd in the lobby and outside on the sidewalk is all for this place! Worth it. If you come with just a few people, expect to share the table with another party or two. A larger group gets their own table, of course. Also, dim sum here is something of an event - be prepared to chase down a cart or two if they pass by your table without stopping. You'll need to flag a waiter for drinks, too. It's so busy in here that they don't check in unless you flag them down. It sounds crazy, I know, but it's all part if the experience and it's great!

Went for a retirement party. Lots of food. Liked the dumplings and main dishes. Waitress a little brusque. And since family style she saved us leftovers if we wanted them or not before next course. I saw a lot of dim sum and other dishes I would like to go back and try in main dining room. Also they had some smaller tables so you didn't have to sit with strangers.
