“Iconic for a reason” , this local chain delivers “reliably excellent” “old-school” slices “straight from the oven” ; “divey” surroundings and “stand-up” tables mean many take it “on the go” , but when you want “classic NY pizza” , it’s “still one of the best.”

The pizza was delicious. We didn't have to wait long in line or for our food but even if we did it would have been worth the wait. It was fun to sit and look at all the photos of the celebs who have eaten there too. If your in the area, I highly recommend you grab a slice of Joe's Pizza.

Ok for a quick slice, but pretty expensive ($4 for one slice of pepperoni) and the place is cash only. You won't be blown away and you won't be disappointed by the pizza here. The crust is the best part of their pizzas. A bit crispy on the bottom but still maintains its chewiness. The sauce is pretty traditional Neapolitan... It tastes like pureed tomatoes and not much else. The Sicilian style (thick sqaures) has a very crispy, almost crunchy crust, but the thickness and chewiness of the dough makes it very enjoyable. Overall, just average pizza that's a little overpriced.

Delicious! On a recent NY trip made our way to Joe's Pizza after reading their reviews and they did not disappoint. It was just the perfect slice of pizza. There was a long line which was a given for a Saturday night but it ran fast. We ordered and were even able to eat inside. Will definitely go back when in NYC again!
