Listen, I live walking distance from Pat's and Geno's but I will gladly drive up to Joe's for a steak because it's SO MUCH better. So listen up visitors of our fine city, Joe's is a great place to go when you're in town. Servers are always kind and and the food is made quick. Try a steak wit and cherry soda. A great pairing if you've never tried it. Great location to take your friends from out of town too. Table service makes the experience a little easier than most steak shops. Little hint - these sandwiches are pretty big so you're kids can share. :)

Shakes are very good. Large cheese fries are served in a bag with cheese sauce on side. Cheesesteak with American could have been better. It was served on a cool bun. They should invest in a bun warmer. Condiments in the back such as pickles and peppers is convenient. This is possibly the 1st restaurant that I know uses Hunt's Ketchup.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is this was my 1st Philly cheesesteak so it's hard to make a fair comparison. I chose this location because of the look of the bread in the photos-better than average-now that I have had it I have no regrets. We ordered our subs w "whiz" like the locals but we skipped the sides of whiz we saw locals using to dip fries. Gooey, salty cheese over juicy steak slices, mushrooms & fried onions on bread I would call rustic for a sub roll. So good when the junk food monster is roaring! The 🍟 were perfect-crispy on the outside, tender and starchy inside and not oily! If you're watching your waistline definitely share the generous portion. The pickle bar had fresh-looking pickle chips which were sweet, salty & slightly spicy-very nice way to cleanse the palate between bites. I wouldn't have tried it on my own but my brother got a chocolate peanut butter milkshake-21 oz so we shared. Our waitress was super nice and served it in 2 glasses for us. So good I'm glad I don't live there. No complaints. Very fast & a good experience.
