An “elevated” , “clubby” take on an American diner, this breakfast-through-dinner Roland Park hangout from Cindy Wolf and Tony Foreman offers an “eclectic” , California-inspired menu featuring everything from pancakes to burgers to “Mexican-inflected dishes” , washed down with “great coffee” and “well-prepared” cocktails; if some find the food “uneven” and service “spotty” , fans of the “beautiful” , “family-friendly” setup dub it “delightful.”

Sweet folks. I walked up from my sister's house down the street. Sat at the bar, and had a great little rib-eye, and a reasonable glass of wine. Don't try and re-invent the wheel and it will be good. I want to say one thing. The sweet girl at the bar and the African american male server with longer hair were verbally abused by their manager. Not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but he was way too curt and unprofessional for a nice spot like this. I realize it's Roland Park and folks can be pretty pretentious and pushy, but to the younger Caucasian guy with curly brown/black hair. Lay off your team. Positive attitude and energy will take you far in life, the opposite is chaos and despair. Change your attitude.

Really nice atmosphere. Food was great, too. We went for a late lunch with a party of three. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. I'll be visiting again.

We were with a group of 20 (10 couples...all in the area)....because of the size of our group we had a limited menu, which was fine. Most of us ordered the chicken....which was very dry...no starch with it.....one of our party did not received entree until, the rest of us were finished eating ours...she was not hungry by that time...after we insisted the manager took it off our bill. The Brussels sprouts were hard as a rock....they brought some more but by then we were all done eating. The manager was very curt...we were very disappointed....several,of us had been there several times before and had bad experiences....unfortunately, none of us will return. Maybe it is time to do a change over into a neighborhood pub with good simple food ....too bad as the location is so good for us in Roland Park.
