“True” NY-style pizza emerges from the coal-fired brick ovens of these separately owned “bang-for-the-buck” pie joints; the West Village “institution” is “worth the wait in line” ( “forget the decor” ), while the “huge” Theater District outlet is set in an old church with “beautiful” stained-glass windows.

*Disclaimer* I'm not a New Yorker so take it with a grain of salt. John's was fantastic, the garlic knots we're insane and the pizza was great. I'm not really a NY style pizza fan but it was great. The building they're in is super cool and a great place for a large group.

Pretty good pizza! There was a lot of people but we only waited 15-20 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and the large pizza was enough for my boyfriend and me. The atmosphere is vibrant being around time square and all. Don’t forget to check the ceiling. I recommend.

Nice pizzeria in the middle of Times Square...so prepare for a higher bill than usual, but not by much, especially compared to the surrounding restaurants. Good New York brick oven style pizza in a nice busy and somehow relaxing setting, just be prepared to wait around an hour for a table. It's no Chicago style though lol
