"Now that's a big burrito" say fans impressed by the size of the offerings at these "go-to" spots for Mexican fare done "New Orleans–style" ; add in a "funky" , "fun" atmosphere, "cheap" tabs and some of the "best margaritas in town" , and no wonder they're "extremely popular."

Cool cafe/bar style Mexican food place. Had the Tuesday $2 Taco's which sounded like a good deal but they were tiny with next to no filling. The Burrito we ordered from the main menu was great value though and delicious. There's also an extensive drinks menu but we didn't sample any so I can't comment on them.

"Best" "Mexican" food in the city. By "best" I mean most deliciously reliable. Their Hawaii 504 Nachos are arguably the best non traditional nachos I've ever had. By "Mexican" I mean inspired Mexican. If you're looking for traditional Mexican fare, look elsewhere. If you're open to delicious interpretation, you'll be quite happy here. The only reason it's 4 vs 5 stars is there music which ranges from rock to punk to occasional metal, but most of the time you get punk/grunge rock which isn't my thing. It's certainly no BIG thing - the food, service, and drinks are impeccable. Get a "Bootlegger"and you'll be wobbling and ecstatic.

Love Juan’s! Multiple locations in New Orleans, all great. The food is excellent as are the margaritas. If you’re looking for an inexpensive but tasty, substantial meal, go with the rice/beans/cheese/chips. It’s like $4 and very filling. If it’s a burrito you’re after, I think they are marginally better at Felipes.
