Wait time almost ridiculous for dishes that are 3☆☆☆ (oxtail, pork neck bones, biscuits) at best. At this writing I have not had the brisket (Friday's only?) or the fried chicken (Sundays only). I was told by the duty manager one had to show up at 3PM for Sunday dinner because they always run out of fried chicken (70 orders only). Dinner starts at 5PM. If that were the case one could expect not to eat until 5:30 or so as they still have to cook the chicken. I had high hopes for this supposedly southern type restaurant, which BTW is an award-winning restaurant owned by an award-winning chef. Just not for me to wait 2.5+ hours for a fried chicken meal. (1)The service by staff is good. (2)Waiting time is horrible. (3)I've had better southern fast food. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Catfish was mediocre. Turkey was very tender and good. Grits were very nice. Collared greens left a lot to be desired. biscuits were really good. Was hoping to try the fried chicken, but after waiting 2.5 hours, they sold out. It wasn't worth waiting that long for the food. The service was nice once inside. I hope others enjoy the food more than we did.

Everything turned out so well that we didn't even mind our hour long wait at 5:15 on a Thursday! (Gave us time to explore Ravenna). Loved the carrot dish, the tempura mushrooms, and chicken fried steak. The Mac and Cheese was good, but not on the same level as the other dishes. The "crutches" cocktail was delicious too and well worth getting too. Overall we had delicious food, excellent service, and enjoyed the bustling vibe at JuneBaby and undoubtedly will be back in the future!
