K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen
Upscale eats by a seminal Cajun chef
Cajun · French Quarter · $$$
The Zagat Review
One of the "original kings of Creole cooking" , the late Paul Prudhomme's "upscale but not stuffy" French Quarter "classic" is helmed by executive chef Paul Miller, who delivers "lip-smacking" Cajun fare with "big flavors" ; service is "first class" , and though the open kitchens on both floors of the circa-1830s townhouse "can be loud" , the cooks give diners "a good show" ; P.S. deal-seekers should note the deli-counter lunch Thursday–Saturday.

The most delicious food I have put in my mouth!!!! It was so difficult to decide what to eat from the menu. It is very satisfying knowing everything is extremely fresh since there is no refrigerator in the restaurant. We even got to have our picture taken with a couple of the chefs in the kitchen!! There are recipes on the tablecloth and on the artwork on the walls. It was such a wonderful experience!!!! Our meal was worth every penny! I wish i could give this place 10 stars!

It's places like this that give New Orleans such a good reputation for having such great restaurants. The turtle soup was truly life changing. Jambalaya, amazing. Blackened Drum, delicious. Great complex flavors. everything perfectly cooked & seasoned. Fantastic service. Great in every respect. Lovin it!

This is my 3rd day here, and here was my best meal so far! It was recommended to come here by a local tour guide for having the best gumbo in town. The base was rich and gravy like. Delicious! I chose the salmon for my entree, and the mashed potatoes were the creamiest I've ever had! Worth the money, in my opinion.
