The first U.S. branch of an Indian chain, this Kips Bay entry turns out traditional vegetarian Sindhi fare including a variety of chaats all made in-house and served alongside classic lassi drinks. The cozy corner space features lots of dark wood and a wall of windows to let the light in.

Food is extremely good! It tastes exactly how it does in India! For anybody who is craving for some corn basket or kick ass biryani, this is the place! Food comes in large portions, making it totally worthy of the prices! With lovely Indian music playing in the background, makes the experience even more Indian like! You need to step out to realise that you are in NY 😅

A very good Indian place in midtown Manhattan. The place is known for the chats which are Indian street food/appetizers. The place has been consistent and tasty North Indian food. It's part of a pretty famous North Indian restaurant chain.

One of the few places to get authentic Indian food in New York City, too bad they serve only vegetarian options 🙂. Both quality and quantity of food here is very good and so is the taste. They have a decent selection of alcohol as well. The staff is polite and courteous and service is fast enough. I go there at times only for drinks and like the different snack options (complimentary) the chef brings in with every repeat order 😁.
