This “intimate” Cobble Hill Japanese serves “exceptional” sushi including “memorable signature rolls” made with “high-quality fish” in a “modern” , “cheerful” setting; “extremely hospitable” service adds to the reasons it’s a “consistent pleaser.”
I had the chef's deluxe special and it was simply some of the best sushi I've had in NYC: fresh, tender, well presented, high fish/rice ratio. It was expensive, but a worthy treat. I've since had dinner here several more times, and the food is very reliable. For something different try the banana dessert.
The store is OK. Many of the patrons were quite loud; the open room doesn't help isolate the noise.

Excellent sushi. Did the chef's choice and it was phenomenal. Salmon was buttery and the tuna was outstanding. Service was a little slow, but it was a fairly busy Saturday night.

Awesome, fresh, and friendly. Best sushi in Cobble Hill. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Ask for Eddie. He is the best and will take good care of you.
