Bright, fun spot for Korean-fusion fare
Korean · Downtown · $$
Grab a purple leather seat at this Faneuil Hall eatery, where bright-violet walls adorned with splashy Asian Pop Art make an appropriate backdrop for the playful Korean fusion fare. KFC, as in Korean fried chicken, shares menu space with whole fried fish, crab udon, bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, glasses of soju sangria and other inventive reprieves from the ho-hum fare found in this tourist zone.

Nice little Asian fusion restaraunt with a nice vibe. The cocktails were awesome and strong. The staff was exceedingly nice, they even brought over a candle for me and my date. I only gave them 4 stars because the food could have been better for the price. The shrimp tempura was very good but the rice wasn't cooked right and the pork belly was tough. Very nice people running the place though, when we complained about the rice the manager came out, apologized, and after our meal gave us complimentary green tea ice cream.

Great food, great service. This a very convenient location for me, close to downtown, Faneuil Hall, activities and other places to go out to. I’ve always had a great experience for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is more upscale and classy than other Korean places that I’ve been that have more of a take joint kinda feel. But Koy does do take out. I would recommend Koy for drinks, a date, or even a business lunch. I usually order a few things and share. Also, I recommend the “biscuits” for dessert. They’re more like mini donuts and they are fantastic!

I love this place! Although I have to admit I had a little trouble finding it, it was worth getting lost for! I had the cauliflower and calamari for appetizers which were amazing! I paired that with a rose, gun and lychee cocktail which I'm sure is my new favorite drink. After that I had the Street noodles which were extremely flavorful and filling! I wasn't too impressed by the dessert options, but I was so full of great food, I probably couldn't have had it anyway! Thanks Seated for showing me one of Boston's best restaurants.
