"The place to meat" in the Warehouse District, chef-owner Adolfo Garcia's "jewel" of an Argentine chophouse offers "perfectly cooked steaks" , which include some less common cuts, and "must" -have sides like flash-fried Brussels sprouts; waiters who "know their wines" offer suggestions from an "excellent wine list" "without being pushy" (the pisco sours are muy bueno too) in an upscale, exposed-brick setting.

Insider Tip
The wine list is heavy on Argentinean Malbec, and if you ask, they will often let you sample before commiting to a bottle.

By far the best steak I've ever eaten. Great suggestions by the waiter who was also very knowledgeable about which wine to pair with the course. Again, amazing steak. I recommend the hanger steak!

Among the mediocrity of local food restaurants in New Orleans, La Boca presents a nice opportunity for some decent food. They don't have a good beer selection but they do have good wines and a lot of spirits at reasonable prices. The staff is pretty courteous too.

La Boca was a phenomenal dining experience. Making a reservation was very easy on Open Table. I had to modify my party size at the last minute and they were super accommodating. The tasting menu is such a good deal. We tried all the steaks for the most part and all were cooked to perfection. The hit of the table was the Somamillo Steak. Also the desserts are all delicable.
