"Tradition reigns" at this "longtime" River North link of the Beverly Hills–based chophouse chain known for "dramatic" tableside preparations, including "beautifully cooked" , "well-seasoned" prime rib carved from a rolling roasting cart and "spinning salads" mixed in front of you; "pleasant" service is matched by a "beautiful" setting in the former McCormick mansion.

Nice traditional restaurant but I've had better and bigger prime rib. My biggest "bowl" cut was very lean and while tender it was ordinary and just not that big. I cook a better roast myself i believe. Our dessert , creme brule, was grainy and we sent it back. Maybe this was just a bad day. There are nice couples tables and its always cool to go to a place open for so long. So overall a good experience but not up to my expectations

Saturday night reservation for me and my lovely daughters birthday celebration in Chicago. Our server Rice was an absolute jewel. Love his spirit and knowledge of the menu. He took really good care of us. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Chicago! Crab cakes were excellent!

The Prime Rib melts in your mouth!!! The horseradish is delicious as well as the creamed spinach. The spinning salad had too much core on the lettuce but the dressing is marvelous! I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone :-)
