The Zagat Review
French traditions and farm-to-table sensibilities shape the menu at this “cute” San Francisco bakery and bistro, where the “affordable” little luxuries include “wonderful breads and pastries” , quiches, croques and other “easy” light bites, plus coffee, beer and wine; some say it's “hit or miss” for quality and service, but “when it's good, it's good.”

My newest favorite brunch place. Great location, nice outside seating with a retractable shade awning, great people-watching and everything is delicious! You customize your boards and salads which are all yummy and very satiating. The cold pressed coffee is excellent. They have multiple excellent teas as well. Unfortunately, my health restrictions don't allow me to try anything from their bakery. But it all looks so beautiful and every single person I've brought here agrees their pastries are phenomenal! I've seen reviews about lackluster service, but I completely disagree! They're on it and very accomodating. Hot tip: excellent hangover food. Just sit outside (inside can get a smidge too loud) and bring your shades and a hat :)

New sister cafe to its popular namesake in the Marina, this one has a slightly different approach. Order off the regular menu or order 5 or 7 options that come on a wooden board. Very European. Got a table outside in the sunshine on a Monday at noon. Fun corner location.

Absolutely to die for! Super nice amazing staff! Great atmosphere! The people watching on the street is great! Huge lunch rush as anywhere in the area. Get the fresh pastries while you can and the barista made the best latte I have ever had. Felt like I was in paris for a split second. Cannot recommend this place enough.
