It's all about “value” at this “unique” East Midtown French brasserie where the “one-trick-pony” menu consists only of steak frites and salad for a $30 fixed price; there’s a no-reservations rule, but fans generally find it “quick and easy.”

Favorite restaurant in NYC! They only make one meal but it is amazing. The salad and bread are good but the steak and fries are amazing! Desert choices are plentiful and plenty of good wines. Service is fast and polite. Highly recommend!

Very nice place and excellent service. It's a fixed menu of salad with almonds then the steak with some fries! Then you have the dessert menu where you can select what you want. For me honestly, take the creme brulee or the profiterole with a single or double shot espresso!! It'll cost from $35 - $55 per person, but it's worth it!!

I had a very bad experience in this restaurant. The staff was really rude and inconvenient. While I was having dinner with my wife the waitress came and served my wife with all the meet and sauce that was on the dish without asking me if I wanted some (my wife didn’t have meet on her plate at that time so the waitress just assumed that my wife wanted the meet). So the waitress took the dish and I asked her “Excuse me, could you please bring me more sauce?” and answer me “Well, yes but you have to pay separately.” The point was not the money that I would have to pay for additional sauce but the lack of professionalism I saw in that all attitude. From my understanding the only objective of the staff is table rotation rate. Regarding the food, with these experience I don’t even remember. My first and last time in this restaurant.
