Lifted Spirits- Kansas City Distillery
Rustic-chic distillery & tasting room
Bar · $$
Set in a restored stable house from the 1800s, this East Crossroads distillery and tasting room crafts small-batch spirits – gin, vodka, whiskey – with grains sourced from a local family-run farm and pours signature cocktails with housemade syrups and custom infusions. The sprawling setting (which includes a 200-person event space upstairs) has a rustic-chic look, blending modern elements with the original bones of the space.

We're visiting from out of town, found this place on Google maps, and are very happy we did! Even though we came in on a day tours aren't offered, Tracy was kind enough to show us around anyway. He explained all of the ins and outs of distilling gin and vodka. The botanical basket was the coolest part. One of our group distills at home and Tracy fielded all of his questions professionally. The bartender Jessie showed me how to make the drink I liked so I can recreate it when I go home. We bought two bottles of gin and a glass. Couldn't have had a better time!

Great place to visit! Try some absinthe and catch a tour if you can. The Barrel Aged Gin is wonderful!

Our networking group, Thursday Therapy, had such a great experience with Lifter Spirits and their manager, Tricia. Although they are EXTREMELY busy with making top notch alcohol and hosting events, we were so grateful for their sponsorship of our event this month. Tricia worked with our bartenders to develop creative and tasty drink options for our guests and played along with our winter white theme. She was pleasant and engaging with our attendees and even helped with setup and tear down. Such a classy operation. I would definitely recommend.
