Though "the competition for Vietnamese food in the city is high" , this "authentic-feeling" Lower Garden District pho hub "stands out" with its "monstrous" bowls of steamy goodness, plus banh mi and other specialties with "amazing flavors" ; the small joint might not be much to look at, but regulars report the eponymous owner treats them "like a mother" would.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. We didn't know what we wanted but were helped in to this amazing version of Pho dish. We also got spicy spring rolls to match, soon good.

Came here as a large group and ordered pho, spring rolls and noodles. All dishes are Americanized versions with some variation. Pho was still good but they do not have the usual selection found in Orange County or San Jose. Only the basic chicken, brisket, rare beef and meatballs. Service was also great.

Lilly and staff are great hosts, food is so good. Great to our kid, too. We're mostly vegetarian and it's so easy to eat great here
