“Energetic” is the word on chef Andrew Carmellini’s “grand-slam” TriBeCa Italian offering a “delectable” , all-day menu to a “swinging” clientele basking in its “trendiness factor” ; despite an “overcrowded” , somewhat “frantic” scene at prime times, reservations can still be “hard to get.”

Food is outstanding. The beet salad is fresh and bursting with flavor, and the portion is good for two people to share before the mains. I got the rigatoni with white veal bolognese — it was divine. The veal was rich, the sauce was oozing oil and decadence. I ate about half to two-thirds of it, and I was full and happy.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in NYC. It can be for a casual date or party. The pasta is homemade and created for deliciousness in each bite. Exquisite menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don’t get me started on the fresh focaccia bread.

Went there with parents for brunch. The front of house staff is so nice and awesome! Food is pretty great - ricotta waffles, lamb pappardelle were standouts. Would return for dinner or another brunch!
