"Now that's a big burrito" say fans impressed by the size of the offerings at these "go-to" spots for Mexican fare done "New Orleans–style" ; add in a "funky" , "fun" atmosphere, "cheap" tabs and some of the "best margaritas in town" , and no wonder they're "extremely popular."

$6 happy hour margaritas are DELICIOUS and quite boozy :) they’re available all day Sunday (and possibly other days as well). They are more on the salty side then the sweet side. Stopped in with my boyfriend on my first day in New Orleans and we really enjoyed it. I had the Louisiana fish tacos and he got a burrito with shrimp, steak and chicken. Very yummy! They also had homemade hot sauce that was great. I’d recommend putting it on everything!

Delicious food, great selection of food and drinks, and great service. The food is fair price for the quantity you get. They were able to sit us quickly and brought our food in a reasonable time. The waiter was nice enough to give us more chips when we ran out, and he was knowledgeable with the menu and drinks which helped us a lot.

Walking back to our hotel from the WWII Museum, we came across this restaurant. Love the name. Unlike Mexican restaurants in WA state, you have to pay for chips & salsa here. Had a margarita, which was good. Hubby had beer. I had fish tacos. They were yummy, but I wished there was more fish. Seemed light on protein. Hubby had a pork dish (Can't remember name) but it was definitely spicier than anticipated. Overall a good meal. It was a Friday night and bar and restaurant were all in same room, so it was really noisy.
