When “you can’t make it to Maine” , this “standout” seafood chain’s “real-deal” lobster rolls – “chock-full” of “succulent” meat with “no filler” – are just about the “closest you’ll get” (and “priced accordingly” ); the “utilitarian” , counter-serve setups suggest “takeout” , though wine and beer poured at some branches encourages lingering.

Excellent seafood place on the upper west side! Very good value for money and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Not huge inside so can be tricky finding seats when busy but that’s part of the charm. I’d highly recommend the crab roll and Mexican cola!

My first trip to NYC and I had to find a Lobsta Roll. Yes, I know this isn't Maine but this is the furthest north I've gone. I am so glad I was looking for places around the Natural History Museum and saw Luke's. Super easy walk after or before going to the museum. First off it was as delicious as I imagined it would be. we had a couple of lobster rolls at Luke's trio which is half a lobster roll half a crab roll and half a shrimp roll . All were incredibly tasty but to me the lobster was the winner. Also had the bisque and chowder, both had a good but of clams and lobster and were a very nice to see an addition to our meal. The location was a little small but very nicely decorated and as others have mentioned yes it is a little pricey (about 80 bucks) but I mean come on, it's lobster and it's in New York. If I lived up north this place would definitely be a weekly stop and if you've never had a lobster roll you've got to try Luke's.

The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because I felt the prices were a bit high and the portions were on the smaller side. Otherwise, I thought the food was delicious. I ordered for delivery the lobster roll, side salad and clam chowder. I devoured everything. The bread on the lobster roll was spot on and it didn't become soggy during delivery. The clam chowder was full of clams and potatoes. Everything was quite tasty.
