Still “trendy” and filled with “beautiful people” , this SoHo staple wins ‘em over with “fresh seafood par excellence” and a “swank” , “yachtlike” setting tucked below street level; tabs “on the pricier side” don’t seem to dampen the “active bar scene” or “challenging” decibels.

Simply amazing my fav restaurant in new york. The shrimp tempura is exquisite I've been going there for 3 years now and have yet to order anything that was not great. 5 stars in my book! Ooh and the staff 👌

If you visit for Happy Hour, you better be at the door waiting to open. The seating will be full by 15 minutes after. You even have customers holding bar seats. The reason for 1 STAR...... We asked front hostess if we could sit near bar to enjoy Happy Hour bar snacks. When the server came to the table, we ordered our happy hour drinks. After we ordered some bar snacks. Server then tells us that we can not order bar snacks because that's only at the bar. But we got happy hour drinks. Go figure! When asked, can order bar snacks at bar and bring back to table? Server said no you have to be at the bar. WHAT! Had our drinks and left...... Will NEVER come back.

Food, service and ambiance really solid, but you pay for the location and well-known profile. Good for a celebration, or when your parents are in town. There's a section towards the front where the floor inexplicably vibrates, like the subway is underneath, but it never stops. Anyway, they were nice and moved our table, but please take note.
