Pho & other Vietnamese dishes
Vietnamese · East Village · $$
Pho that’s simmered for 24 hours leads a Vietnamese menu with lots of rice and noodle stir-fries, and a few veggie options, at this East Village spot. The narrow space, with a red cyclo (three-wheel bicycle taxi) upfront, has both table and wall-counter seating.

Great food, great service, we went on a busy Friday dinner time, the reception was very polite and nice. We waited around 20 mins, and got a text that our table was ready. Hence, reservation is highly recommended, esp for large groups given the place is long and narrow set up. We ordered a fried pork spring roll, the large madame pho with short rib, and the spicy rice noodle with beef and pork sausage. The pho was gigantic portion with a large tender short rib, the spicy noodle was not extremely spicy, great food in general.

The best pho in NYC. Been searching for some good pho here for years and this is the spot! Broth super flavorful and meat quality is very good. Bo luc lac (shaky beef) and the papaya salad are also good choices. Cute atmosphere, but space is a little tight. Expect a wait for walk ins.
