“Mama will make sure you leave full and satisfied” at this “hidden gem” in Universal’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel that sends out “very good” Italian specialties like frutti di mare and pollo parmigiana in a knickknack-filled space made up of “lots of smallish rooms” ; strong service and “wandering singers” who often stroll around “taking requests” further explain why fans “love it.”

Great experience. Me and my husband went there for our anniversary and we had a great time. The atmosphere, food, drinks, live music were above and beyond. Oh yes, the service! Michael our server was very professional, friendly and took care of us the whole time. He even went outside to show us where we can catch the boat to return to our hotel. Really nice guy! Hope we see him again on our next stay there.

My sister and I ate here and enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip if not the best lasagna and lamb I've ever had. Often, with lasagna especially, not all of the components will enjoy equal flavor or consistency and you'll find the ricotta layer bland, for instance. Not so at Mama Della's. The meal and service were outstanding from start to finish. I highly recommend the lamb chops, too. (Much better than the lamb shank at Raglan Road in Disney Springs which is muddy by comparison.).

It was mediocre. Service was okay, food was uninteresting and overpriced. I felt an underlying desperation for tips that left me feeling uncomfortable.
