“Tasty and hasty” sums up these cross-Village Middle Eastern “favorites” , whose “awesome” falafel and shawarma “can't be beat” for “cheap, filling eats” served into the “wee hours” ; “bare-bones” digs with a serious “space crunch” don't keep them from “bustling.”

Mamoun’s has a long relationship of feeding those drunken escapades. Or just your average human walking by craving falafel. I absolutely love their prices for the quality of the food. You can not go wrong if you need a cheap eat on St. Marks. I hope they get to stay there because some other gems on this street have sadly left. This place has been open for FOREVER. And should stay that way. When I first moved here I was introduced by a friend and will continue to tell people to visit this place as a place you can trust for good food.

Order at the counter segment. Top flight food quality. Authentic flavors and textures that are well executed. Combo platter of hummus/falafel/tabouli with shawarma added (in photo). Prices a little below par for the segment/location. Portions a bit more than par. Friendly, efficient service. Keep an eye on the seating area, you might need to take it to-go.

Tasty, fresh, and super inexpensive Middle Eastern food. Love this location as there is seating and they accept credit/ debit cards. Make certain you get extra garlic sauce... you'll want to bathe in it!!
