Airy Italian place with thin pizzas
Pizza · NoMad · $$
The Zagat Review
Another “stunner” from Danny Meyer, this “happening” Italian in NoMad’s Redbury Hotel is known for its “perfectly crisp” Roman pizzas adorned with “first-rate” toppings, but the wood-fired entrees are considered “just as good” ; the “high-ceiling, high-energy” space and “hip crowd” add up to a “noisy” , “fun” time.

I've been many times and live in the area. Food is always good, especially the pizzas. Some of the best thin-crust pizza you will find in this city. Meatballs are delicious, though they never should have removed the rabbit meatballs from the menu. Service is always prompt and friendly. Good wines and beers and they make an honest cocktail. Great coffee. Feels like you are eating in a hotel lobby and it can be a bit loud at times, but you're here for the food and the food is consistently good. The grilled meats are just okay, in my opinion...stick to the pizza.

Visited many times and hooked. Beautiful environment in a hotel lobby. Staff are always polite. Ovens are visible from your seat and you can see the cooks painstakingly but perfectly make your pizza. Very interesting but delicious appetizers(sourdough, pears, ricotta). I can't get enough of their Hen of the Woods pizza, it's insanely delicious that hits all of the right taste buds. The on tap beer only had one type that appealed to me but it was excellent. Cocktails were hit and miss. Most importantly, it's a no tipping establishment. So delicious food with none of the associated guilt in calculating what's deserved which is an incredible relief for some reason.

This restaurant does not disappoint! The attention to detail shines in every aspect, from the beautiful flowers, bright attentive hostess and gracious waitstaff, the vibe is on point. Oh, and the food is amazing! Pizza is hauntingly delicious. Seeing Springsteen on Broadway was the only thing that topped our meal at Marta. Will definitely return.
