Airy Italian place with thin pizzas

The Zagat Review
Another “stunner” from Danny Meyer, this “happening” Italian in NoMad’s Redbury Hotel is known for its “perfectly crisp” Roman pizzas adorned with “first-rate” toppings, but the wood-fired entrees are considered “just as good” ; the “high-ceiling, high-energy” space and “hip crowd” add up to a “noisy” , “fun” time.

Great place for a pleasant dinner. The thin crust pizza was delicious and appetizing. It's probably best to share a pie among a number of friends as the last slices tend to get cold if they sit on the table for too long. The arancini were very good appetizers , and there was a solid beer and wine selection. The fact that gratuity is included is another great feature of this place. It makes you feel like all the staff are willing to help.

The food is super delicious and they had an amazing craft beer in the big bottle for a small price which is a plus! I would definitely go back and ask for the Oxtail pizza again. Well, Brazilians are supposed to love oxtail, right? On top of that, it is a non-tipping restaurant! So the price in the menu is the final price and that is always appreciated by people that are not from the US. A minor setback was the time it took for us to be served the beer because they couldn't find it. Also, the food was a bit delayed as well. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it could be for some people and that is why I am giving 4-stars.

THE BEST THIN CRUST PIZZA IN NYC! Yes- it's true people say that about many places but this is THE BEST! Your eyes will roll back in your head when you taste it! You just cannot beat the food OR the service (which includes the tip) You can ask any waiter or hostess anything and they will never say "sorry that's not my table". The whole staff is here to help with anything you need- from water/drink refills to checking your coat. Where else can you get the best "no attitude" service from everyone? Danny Meyer has it down- that's why this place is perpetually packed, so best to reserve, And if you want to really get the "pizza show experience" sit at the "pizza bar" and watch it all happen in front of you. Insider tip: You can customize your pizza anyway you want. You'll never hear "we can't do that"! Don't you wish every restaurant treated you this good?
