Spanish tapas & steak in spiffy digs
Tapas · $$
Multimillion-dollar renovations at a Hilton hotel in Woburn yielded this snazzy Spanish tapas restaurant (conceptualized in partnership with the team behind Boston hotspots Yvonne's, Ruka and Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar) emphasizing small plates and steak in a dining room covered with matador murals, distressed leather and reclaimed wood, plus an open kitchen and fire pit-equipped patio.

Visited due to business trip and stayed at Hilton where Matadora is located. The smell is amazing coming from restaurant. Service was great! Food was amazing. Little pricey but worth a visit while staying at Hilton.

Our first time there, a wonderful experience overall. We stayed away from the entrees and tried eight different kinds of tapas. Everything we tried was good, some was really great. Only disappointment were they don't season the oil for the bread, and the croquettes were bland. Service was very good, if a bit disorganized. Expect any problems will be ironed out once they've been open for awhile. Expect to pay high end prices, this isn't an inexpensive meal. We'll definitely be back!

Really delicious food. The grilled octopus was amazingly tender and seasoned perfectly. Definitely a unique gem in the Woburn area
