"Creative" New American small plates are paired with "excellent" , "original" cocktails at this swanky Lower Haight spot designed with a cozy loft space, "cool" living wall and "large" communal redwood tables; the set-up is perfect for groups, and an "accommodating" staff helps "keep it classy."

Great new local spot for a drink, meal, and especially fries and Brussels sprouts. Good cocktails and kitchen is producing very tasty food. Really recommend it for a drop in!

Sleek and cool interior, but overpriced and kind of bland food. I had the burger, and it was just OK and the chutney on it was too sweet. Also tried the mushroom eggs benedict and it only tasted of garlic; not much else. Good place to go if you want to feel like you're in a chic space. Not good place for good food at a good value

Wasn't very impressed with dinner when I went a couple of years ago, but finally gave this place a shot at brunch and boy did Maven redeem itself. Eggs benedict were on the small side, but perfectly poached and stuffed with flavor, and the duck confit hash was equally delicious, with crispy duck over seasoned potatoes. Service at the counter with the bartender was perfect, making this a great spot for brunch, without the exhausting long lines of more well known SF brunch establishments.
