Media Noche Restaurant
Bright Cuban counter with beer & wine
Cuban · The Mission · $$
Cuban food gets the contemporary counter-serve treatment at this bright Mission spot where a team of Nopa, Tres and Tacolicious vets presents items like empanadas, rice bowls and Cubano sandwiches. There’s also beer, wine and sangria from the neighboring Wildhawk lounge, offered in an Instagram-friendly corner space with whitewashed wood, splashy tiles, turquoise accents and counter and communal table seating.

this place is so amazing! It is such a cute/trendy atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food, and plenty of seating inside, as well as outdoor tables too! I will definetly be coming back and telling all my friends about it. Such a cute place in the Mission.

Service and decor was great. Cuban sandwiches lacked authenticity and flavor though. Its a good place holder for the west coast but there's nowhere you can get a better Cuban than in Miami. San Francisco prices so not cheap, but still reasonable for a casual location. Seating is limited so beware!

Great food and drink! The Reubens are pretty filling and the bowls are really big. Would also recommend the Sangria, and they also have a variety of desserts. The only downside was the lack of seating - they only have three tables and just a handful of high chair seating.
