The Zagat Review
"Warm" , "helpful" staffers contribute to the "all-star performance" of this booth-enhanced dining room in Streeterville's InterContinental where supporters cheer a surprisingly "innovative menu for a steakhouse" , deeming it "expensive but worth it for a special night out" ; reticent refs, however, say "there are better options" in the city, though they concede it's still a "great stop for any fan of the Bulls or Jordan."

We had an amazing experience here. The service was excellent even though the place was packed they put together a few tables in the bar area for dinner to accommodate the larger crowd. Everything was timed perfect from the drinks and appetizers to our entree. The steak you literally cut in to like warm butter. 23 layer chocolate cake was just spectacular and delicious (finished that the following day). Thank you for a wonderful experience that made for a great anniversary weekend.

Participated in restaurant week before meeting with someone about holding an event at the restaurant. The soup course ( chicken gumbo) was the highlight of the meal. Main was a run of the mill steak with mash potatoes, it was perfectly edible but nothing memorable at all, slightly tough cut of meat. The dessert course was disappointing at best, a "chocolate mousse" that had clearly been piped into a serving glass well ahead of time, all the air settled out of it - dense and heavy much like a cheap store bought cheese cake. Additionally it must not have been covered properly as it tasted of refrigerator. Wine pairings were well thought out as were beer pairings. Service was lacking. Ambiance was nice. All and all we found it not worth the hype and left feeling underwhelmed.

Excellent experience here. I have a milk allergy and the kitchen was happy to accommodate and make me anything on the menu with substitutions. Everything is made from scratch so it was very easy for them to customize it for my allergy. Food was excellent, and so was the service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fine dining experience.
