“Dinner is a pleasure” but Park Slopers flock to this “affordable” Israeli-Mediterranean mainly for its daily brunch; since it’s usually a “mob scene” on weekends, insiders “go at off times” for a calmer taste of the “tasty” fare.

Ambiance was nice, staff was too. The couscous was terrible. The piece of bass on top was decent, but the vegetables were boiled and had almost no flavor - no salt or seasoning to speak of. The couscous was a gummy brick of cold starch and was not Israeli but rather a supermarket approximation of North African couscous, cooked with tap water. Maybe the meat is good, but definitely not recommended if you eat vegetables.

The food at Miriam is amazing! I love coming here for brunch and it's one of the few restaurants that offers breakfast through the week. Make sure you get there early though because it gets very crowded on the weekends.

Heard so many wonderful things about this place and finally got to try it for brunch with friends. The food was incredible, everyone was so nice. Brunch was pretty busy, but I can see why. Highly recommend the Crispy Dough!
