Service

The "quintessential" "neighborhood steakhouse" , this Garden District stalwart offers "exquisite" , "perfectly cooked steaks" served "sizzling" plus "generous" portions of Italian entrees in an "old-school" , "white-tablecloth" setting; prices aren't cheap, but there's free valet parking, so for a "special event" or "date night" , many consider this "the place to go."

I called in advance to ask if it would be appropriate to bring our 20 month old. They were very nice and said they have high chairs. We went and had the best meal. Everyone was nice to us and our daughter - called her by name, we even got a tour of the kitchen! Amazing steaks and amazing service. Highly recommend.

Overrated and overpriced. Yes it’s a high end place. The food is nothing too special. Server was impatient regarding allergies at the table and made several errors with dishes ordered. We’ve had better steaks in NYC and Vegas for far less... overall food was okay but the price just didn’t justify the food quality. Service was good and attentive.

My husband and I celebrated our ten-year wedding anniversary and my birthday at this establishment last night. He had the Braised Pork Belly (appetizer) and Ribeye (entree). I had the Turtle Soup (appetizer, first time eating) and the Two Lobster Tails (entree). Our meals were cooked to perfection. The wait staff was cheery, friendly, and attentive. Ambience was so nice. I wanted to cry because everything went to so well. Tip: get your car parked by the valet. I would come back to eat here again. I highly recommend this restaurant.
