Came in for restaurant week. Was hoping we were going to love it seeing that this is a Michelin star rated restaurant and reviews were good. Came in at 9:30 on a Friday night. There were still plenty of people but seemed to be winding down. We were seated promptly and had water on our table in seconds. 15 min and two glasses of water later still no waiter. Ill sum it up with this. Terrible service, I mean absolutely terrible service and decent food (by no means outstanding in anyway). So many better more affordable places in the city not sure how this place is still open. I'm glad it was a discounted menu because I would have went crazy if we had a $400 bill for that food. My girlfriend didn't finish her meal and we had one bite of the desert. A live and learn experience. We will not be back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I've been here before and had a decent experience, but last night for restaurant week was bad. My friend and I decided last minute to enjoy some good food during restaurant week. When we arrived we were told they were fully committed, and we could have table service in the lounge. No problem. Now I come from a background of working in fine dinning in Chicago, so I do have high standards, and try to take that into account. They are the only place I've eaten this week, that didn't offer a full menu outside of the tasting menu special for restaurant week. This would have been fine but there was no vegetarian option for the main. The appetizer and dessert were both delicious. They said they could do the pork dish without the pork, which meant I received an extremely unimaginative root risotto, that was about the size of a small cup of soup. Nothing special at all. I could have forgiven this, but the service was horrendous!! We ordered a bottle of wine, and after the first glasses were poured, no one ever touched the bottle again, even though at one point my glass sat empty for several minutes. Not one single time after each course was served did anyone check to see if everything was okay. We were practically ignored all night. It took 10 minutes after we were finished with our last course to get a drink menu, because we were interested in an after dinner cocktail. We would have gone elsewhere at this point, but the weather was miserable and we didn't want to change locations. One might chalk this up to them being busy, but that is not the case. At any given time, there were *at least* five tables open in the main dining room. For a $250 meal after tip, I expect much better. Sadly we won't be back.

Absolutely fabulous experience. Going by the food it is undoubtedly one of the best in Chicago. We ordered the Scallops which were amazing. the flavours complemented each other beautifully. We also ordered the Risotto which in my opinion was good as expected. For entrées we had a rib-eye steak. It was hands down the best steak I have ever tried. They make it 16 Oz so go there hungry. The meat was really juicy, tender and very well cooked with great texture. The sauces in the steak complimented it very nicely. Absolutely recommended.
