In my first visit to Seattle, I found myself roaming Capital Hill hungry for something new and exciting. A quick good search led me to Adana for the 3 course tasting menu. I sat at the bar for dinner, and was immediately welcomed by an incredibly knowledgeable staff. The waitresses took their time talking to me about the dishes, and even brought me a complimentary appetizer. The bartender even gave me suggestions for a night out in town. The food was delicious and exciting, using fresh ingredients/produce local to Seattle. Everything was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and looked visually appealing. The staff checked up on me several times without being overly assertive. Felt like i was having dinner at a friends house, which is exactly what i needed. Definitely a highlight of my trip. Highly recommend this joint.

Dined here last night for the second time. This place is elegant! The staff (specifically Sabrina and Alex last night) were really really nice. It is quiet and lovely. I always forget how long it takes to eat 3 courses (not to mention the intermission courses), so be prepared for a long night of chatting. It is a wonderful atmosphere!

Adana offers probably the best take on Japanese food in Seattle. We tried the "second chapter" tasting menu, and every single course impressed us. Top-notch ingredients, fantastic preparation and creative presentation – all the right components of a dining experience to remember! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place no less that the food. Definitely one of the starts of the Seattle culinary scene.
