The Zagat Review
“Disney at its best” means “well-prepared” , “beautifully styled” plates and “excellent” service at this Grand Floridian seafooder, where, “if you time it right” , you can watch the fireworks ( “one of the best experiences” ); “beautiful views” of the “famous” Seven Seas Lagoon and water parade are another plus, just be prepared for “expensive” tabs.

One of the best restaurants in Disney. Terrific wine list. Ask Sergio at the bar to recommend something for you to drink. Most of the wait staff has been here forever. Reservations are a must! Try the Lobster Bisque. The salmon is great. Asparagus is tender enough to eat the whole stalk. Twin Maine tails fantastic Good view of aerial fireworks from Magic Kingdom. NOT KID FRIENDLY FOR KIDS UNDER 10.

This is the best dining experience on Disney property in my opinion. I've visited it many many times and have enjoyed the food immensely. If you time your meal right you can have dinner, watch the fireworks over Magic Kingdom then go back inside for dessert and when that's done watch the water pageant too. Sergio behind the bar will serve you cocktails with a pleasant line in chat. If I was being picky it does get a bit loud sometimes but we don't care about that.

The food was excellent. The service was also very good. My only complaint was that we made a reservation ahead of the fireworks so we could view them, but people would not leave their tables so they could see the fireworks. This led us to getting our table not only an hour late but getting an obstructed view of the fireworks. So keep the fireworks at 7:55 in consideration when making a reservation.
