The Zagat Review
This long-running Chinatown BYO vegetarian-vegan "treat" dishes up a "huge" menu of "tasty" mock meats and veggies, plus fresh juices; its otherwise plain-Jane space gets a boost from the "linen tablecloths" , as well as the "nice" staff that will steer you right, notably in the direction of the dim sum buffets.

Absolutely love this place! I only went for the vegan dinner buffet on Sunday from 530-730 for only 13.99! It is a small homey area and the food is phenomenal. I highly recommend to anybody that is vegetarian/ vegan or just wants to try out some really good food for an affordable price.

We have loved this place in the past and we were very excited to go on a recent outing to Philadelphia. We ordered many dim sum, all of which were revolting except for one that was edible but not even particularly good. We asked for the check and left almost all of the food on the table, scarcely eaten. The server did not even bother to inquire what the problem was! To say that this place has gone downhill is a huge understatement. For the memory of what it once was, and for the owners' ability to make a living, I hope they get their act together. They need to do a 180° turn. By the way, the physical facility is really disgusting at present.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. It's a place you must try if you follow a vegetarian or kosher diet. All of the imitation "meat" dishes on their menu are delicious, but my personal favorite is the Walnut 'Shrimp'. If you are lucky enough to stop in on a Sunday during dinner hours, then you can try their buffet where they have many of their best dishes out.
