Chef Michael White is behind this East Village pizzeria, a “no-frills” joint ( “so different from Marea” ) for “tasty” thick-crust pies topped with intriguingly “different combinations” , along with “standout” meatballs and wings; while some call it a “ripoff” , others can’t wait to “go back.”

Was well recommended by Italian friends. Place is nice. Have been there several times. Didn't really like the pizza or the pasta. Nothing wrong just not my taste

Went there for lunch. Quarter slice was the right size and price. The pepperonis are those small, super thick ones that form a little bowl when cooked and their pizza sauce is fantastic. We sat outside in the shade with a light breeze and watched foot traffic bustle by. Very nice experience. My only gripe is there was no cannoli for desert!

We got there right as they were opening and sat outside. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, definitely going a bit above and beyond in my opinion. The menu is small, but you can create your own pizza, so it doesn't really need to be bigger. The pizza itself is delicious, if a bit pricey. I tried both the pepperoni and the Calabrese. I'm not sure which I like better. I would absolutely love to go again.
