North Square Oyster
Smart seafood with an upscale flourish
Seafood · North End · $$$
Though it's tucked amid the cobblestone streets of the historic North End, just a few doors down from Paul Revere's old abode, this bi-level seafood spot brings modern, high-end flourishes to classics like lobster rolls, shellfish towers and bowls of chowder. In addition to the airy dining room, there's an intimate, annexed bar area for creative cocktails.

The clam chowder in a giant bread bowl was so delightful, I recommend it. This is officially my favorite seafood restaurant in Boston. The interior is so charming and romantic. We received many helpful recommendations while ordering. Raw seafood dishes were fresh and juicy and flavorful.

We had an amazing dinner at this wonderful restaurant located in the heart of one of Boston's historical districts. Our experience was excellent from the friendly and efficient service to the delicious food and impressive wine list. The Composed Oysters were an absolute treat - flavor combinations that were both exotic and delicious!

I love this place! We went straight to the bar for drinks and clam/oyster shooters. Fresh -- as good as it gets. The bar is small but the bartender was friendly, treated us like we'd been regulars for years. I will go here every time I'm up in Boston's North End.
