Chef Ana Sortun’s way with “exciting spices” yields “insanely good” Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean–inflected cuisine at this “legendary” Inman Square institution, where you really “can’t go wrong” choosing from the “spectacularly creative dishes” , though “knowledgeable” servers can always “steer you in the right direction” ; when the “weather cooperates” you can steer yourself to the “lovely patio” that, unlike the warmly decorated main dining room, doesn’t accept reservations.

Amazing meal. So far, best meal of 2018. The pita to the hummus and to the vegan platter (which is worth every bit of what they charge) was on point. Enjoyed their beer and wine selection and would have been so bummed if I had passed without the dairy free dessert of almond milk gremolata with chocolate olive oil sauce and Orange blossom syrup. Ugh. Would go back just for that.

Has the casual vibe of your foodie friend's dining room, but the food, drinks and ambiance are special. Come here when you feel like treating yourself. Also, the desserts are DIVINE. I had a tahini based dessert the last time I was there that I'm still dreaming about.

An all around fantastic dining experience. Everything is crafted with exquisite attention to detail, and each dish contains a little flourish to make it spectacular. The deviled eggs are a prime example, from the tuna to the olive topper. It's tough to go wrong with a meze sampling, but the flattened chicken is a positively incredible entree. Whatever you do, be sure to save room for dessert; much like the savory offerings, each dessert brings a host of complimentary flavors to the table. The combinations may occasionally seem a bit out of left field on paper, but they have yet to be anything less than amazing. Unless you like dining pretty late, it's best to plan ahead and make a reservation.
